The Bagaha guard stitching patient video has gone viral on social media and raised serious questions about the healthcare system in Bihar. The incident took place at the sub-divisional hospital in Bagaha in West Champaran district. The Bagaha guard stitching patient video shows a security guard giving stitches to an injured patient inside the hospital.
According to reports, several injured people reached the hospital after a road accident between a tempo and a pickup van. Local residents rushed the victims to the hospital for treatment. During the emergency rush, a security guard was seen stitching the wounds of patients instead of trained medical staff.
Injured victims later claimed that the guard treated them even though doctors were present in the hospital. They called the situation risky and accused the hospital of negligence.
Hospital officials said staff shortages forced them to take help from the guard under a doctor’s supervision. However, the viral video has triggered public criticism and raised fresh concerns about the lack of medical staff in government hospitals.
