Telangana BJP chief and Union Minister Bandi Sanjay sharply responded to Congress leaders ’ allegations regarding illegal votes, challenging their credibility. He questioned how candidates who lost the ward member elections could possibly know the vote counts, raising doubts over their claims.
Addressing the media, Sanjay remarked that Congress leaders should think twice before making baseless allegations . “I have been a public representative for over 30 years . How would those who failed to win as ward members know about the votes? If INC leaders come onto the streets with such claims, they may face strong public backlash ,” he said, indirectly warning them against political theatrics.
He further added that if Congress returns to power , he would step back from active politics, showing confidence in his party’s leadership and governance. Sanjay’s statements reflect rising political tension ahead of upcoming local body elections in Telangana.
