Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief Aminul Islam will travel to Colombo ahead of the India-Pakistan match in the T20 World Cup. He is expected to hold an ice-breaker meeting with the BCCI to discuss arrangements and coordination for the tournament.
Islam said the BCB will prepare a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the BCCI to ensure that all assurances about security, logistics, and protocols are formal and binding. The discussion aims to make the high-profile India-Pak match smooth and safe for players, officials, and fans.
Officials from both boards are expected to coordinate on travel, practice sessions, and match-day arrangements. The meeting in Colombo is seen as an important step to maintain good relations and ensure a trouble-free tournament.
