Bhadrachalam MLA Tellam Venkat Rao clarified his political stance following a recent meeting with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Speaking to the media on Monday, Venkat Rao stated that he attended the session only to respond to notices issued by the Speaker . He mentioned that his discussion with the CM lasted merely five minutes, primarily focusing on the urgent release of funds for road repairs in his constituency, which were damaged due to heavy rains.
Venkat Rao firmly denied rumors about resigning from the BRS, asserting that he has not withdrawn his party membership , nor has he joined the Congress. Emphasizing development over politics, he said he is willing to collaborate with any party to advance initiatives in Bhadrachalam. Additionally, he commented on local party dynamics, noting that the senior Podem Veerayya’s support or actions would be coordinated as needed , highlighting his pragmatic approach to governance and public service.
