People living in the area say they approached the Mayor and the BMC Commissioner. They submitted written complaints and asked for immediate help. However, they report no change on the ground. One resident said senior citizens had been hospitalised after their asthma worsened due to the strong odour.
Locals now want the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation to remove the waste, stop the dumping and clean the area. They also want strict monitoring so that this problem does not return. Residents believe quick action can restore hygiene and safety in their community.
