Bihar ANM Recruitment has received a major boost as the state government announced thousands of new vacancies. Under the Bihar ANM Recruitment plan, the government will fill 44,321 Auxiliary Nurse Midwife posts within a year.
Health Minister Mangal Pandey shared this update during the Assembly session. He said the government has already appointed 7,468 ANMs in the current financial year. Officials are now moving ahead to fill the remaining regular and contractual posts.
The minister said the recruitment will improve healthcare services in rural and urban areas. More ANMs will support maternal and child health programs and strengthen primary health centres.
He also highlighted improvements in institutional deliveries and reduced maternal and infant mortality rates. The government plans to further upgrade health infrastructure across Bihar.
The move will create large-scale job opportunities for trained nursing candidates in the state.
