Talk about the next Bihar BJP CM grew stronger after JD(U) minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary said the BJP should lead the state government. He said the BJP is the biggest party in the NDA alliance.
Choudhary spoke to reporters in Patna. He said the BJP has more seats in the alliance. So it should choose the next Bihar BJP CM. He also said JD(U) will continue to support the NDA government.
The statement ended many rumors in state politics. Earlier, some leaders believed a JD(U) member could become the next chief minister.
Current Chief Minister Nitish Kumar may soon move to the Rajya Sabha. After that, he may leave the chief minister’s post.
If he resigns, the state cabinet will end. The NDA alliance will then form a new government in Bihar.
