The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has dropped 14 sitting MLAs from its new Bihar candidate lists. The move aims to bring new energy and faces into the state elections.
In the first list, BJP replaced 11 senior leaders, including Motilal Prasad, Ramesurat Rai, and Amarendra Pratap Singh. The second list added three more changes. Gyanendra Singh Gyanu lost his Barh seat to Dr. Siyaram Singh. CN Gupta from Chhapra was replaced by Chhoti Kumari. Kusum Devi from Gopalganj was replaced by Subhash Singh.
These decisions show BJP’s plan to refresh its image and strengthen its base across Bihar. The final list of 18 candidates is still awaited. The updates have created strong political buzz in the state.
