The Bihar Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit cash details surprised many after senior state officials disclosed their assets. The report shows that Pratyaya Amrit holds only about ₹15,400 in cash, while his wife owns significantly more wealth.
According to the official disclosure, Pratyaya Amrit has around ₹5.5 lakh in bank deposits and about ₹3.15 lakh invested in mutual funds. He also owns an old Maruti Esteem car and about 20 grams of gold. His wife, however, holds stronger financial assets, including ₹51 lakh in bank deposits and around ₹3.15 crore in a PPF account.
The Bihar Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit cash details came out along with asset declarations from other senior officers. Bihar DGP Vinay Kumar reported that he has no cash in hand. However, he owns ₹32.55 lakh in bank deposits along with gold and silver jewellery.
Officials revealed these details after the state government directed IAS and IPS officers to publicly declare their assets.
