The Bihar Congress expels two senior leaders, Chhatrapati Yadav and Anand Madhav, over alleged anti-party activities. The Bihar Congress expels them for six years after accusing them of indiscipline and public protests against party decisions.
Former MLA Chhatrapati Yadav and AICC member Anand Madhav had openly criticised the state leadership. They questioned ticket distribution during the recent elections and raised allegations against senior leaders.
Party officials from the Indian National Congress said the move followed a detailed review. Leaders claimed the two members harmed party unity by speaking against official decisions and organising protests.
The action signals a tough stand on discipline after the party’s disappointing performance in Bihar. Senior leaders said the organisation will not tolerate activities that weaken its structure or image.
