The Bihar crackdown on mafias is getting stronger as the state begins strict action against land and sand mafias. Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Samrat Chaudhary has ordered a special system to identify people involved in fraudulent land deals. The Bihar crackdown on mafias also includes fast action against anyone linked to illegal mining. A real-time monitoring setup will help track mining activities. On Friday, the Home Minister reviewed the progress with senior police officials at Sardar Patel Bhawan.
He said the NDA government follows a zero-tolerance policy toward land mafias, sand mafias, and liquor mafias. Bihar will not allow criminals to create fear. People who break the law must either change their behavior or leave the state. He made it clear that no weakness in law and order will be accepted at any level.
Samrat Chaudhary also announced the Abhay Brigade, a special force created to stop eve-teasing. This team will stay active near schools, colleges, markets, and other sensitive areas. Their goal is to ensure women’s safety and respond quickly to harassment complaints. The Home Minister also instructed officials to improve traffic management across the state.
