In the Bihar Election 2025 BJP Strategy, the party aims to recover the 36 assembly seats it lost in 2020. The BJP faced major defeats in Magadh and Shahabad, losing ground in key districts like Aurangabad, Rohtas, Kaimur, and Buxar. To correct this, it has built customized plans for each lost seat.
In 2020, BJP contested 110 seats and won 74. However, it lost crucial constituencies such as Kudhani, Ramgarh, and Tarari, though later recovered a few in by-elections. The worst setbacks occurred in Goh, Aurangabad, Dehri, and Chainpur. For 2025, the Bihar Election 2025 BJP Strategy focuses on local alliances, stronger candidates, and a ground-level push in weak regions.
Singer-turned-politician Pawan Singh and RLMO leader Upendra Kushwaha have been brought in to strengthen the party’s base in Shahabad and Magadh. Vinod Tawde has been coordinating efforts from Delhi, ensuring each district gets a focused approach. By emphasizing caste balance, leadership unity, and constituency-specific planning, the BJP hopes to reverse its 2020 losses and reclaim dominance in the upcoming polls.
