Bihar gears up for the final phase of the Assembly Elections 2025, with voting scheduled on November 11 across 122 constituencies in 20 districts. The Election Commission has set up 45,399 polling stations to handle the massive voter turnout expected in this decisive round.
Nearly 3.7 crore voters are eligible to cast their votes, including 1.95 crore men and 1.74 crore women. A total of 1,302 candidates are contesting, featuring 136 women and one third-gender candidate, reflecting growing diversity in Bihar’s political landscape.
Authorities have strengthened logistics and security, particularly in vulnerable areas. Several India-Nepal border points will remain closed to prevent disruptions. Extra police personnel and monitoring teams are being deployed to ensure smooth polling.
Special arrangements are in place for senior citizens and differently-abled voters, including help desks, additional staff, and better accessibility at polling centres.
Voters can check their polling station details online at electoralsearch.eci.gov.in or nvsp.in using their EPIC number or personal details.
The counting of votes for all 243 assembly seats will take place on November 14. The results will determine Bihar’s next government and shape the state’s political direction.
