Bihar Elections Opinion Poll Shows Tejashwi Yadav Leading, Nitish Kumar Trails

Bihar Elections Opinion Poll

Excitement is high as Bihar heads toward the Assembly elections, with campaigning ending today (Tuesday). Political parties are making their final appeals, and an opinion poll has stirred up fresh debate across the state.

According to the latest JVC opinion poll, Tejashwi Yadav has emerged as the top choice for Chief Minister. About 33% of respondents expressed support for him, giving him a clear edge over Nitish Kumar, whose popularity has fallen to 29%.

The poll also reveals growing interest in new faces. Prashant Kishor and Chirag Paswan are being viewed as potential contenders, each gaining support from around 10% of the voters. Additionally, 5% of respondents believe another candidate from the Grand Alliance could lead the government.

Despite Tejashwi Yadav’s personal lead, seat projections favor the NDA. The alliance is expected to secure between 120 and 140 seats, while the Grand Alliance may win 93 to 112.

Analysts suggest that many constituencies remain closely contested, keeping the final outcome uncertain. The mood in Bihar reflects both excitement and suspense as voters prepare to decide the state’s political future.
