Bihar Industry Dialogue has opened new doors for large investments in the state. During the Bihar Industry Dialogue, 32 investors from across the country met Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit in Patna with strong proposals to set up industries.
The meeting took place near Patna Airport at the Directorate of Aviation Organization. Investors showed interest in sectors such as electric bus manufacturing, robotic surgery, dairy, furniture, education, healthcare, and exports. Many also requested government support for import and export procedures.
The second day of the Bihar Industry Dialogue saw strong participation from Bihari entrepreneurs. They said their main aim is to develop Bihar, reduce migration, and create local jobs. According to them, Bihar has enough talent, but more industries are needed to provide employment for youth.
The Chief Secretary assured full government support. He said old policies will be amended quickly if needed to promote investment. Senior officials from industry, energy, and district administration attended the meeting.
Major proposals included a Bihar Film City, expansion of the sugar industry, leather exports, and electrical product manufacturing. Ashok Leyland proposed an electric bus unit and a driving school for women. Health experts also showed interest in robotic surgery projects.
To solve investor issues, the state launched Udyog Varta, a one-stop solution for all investment-related support.
