Bihar IPS postings saw a major update this week as the state government appointed new ASPs and DMs in several districts. Bihar IPS postings included eight trainee IPS officers who will now serve as Assistant Superintendents of Police.
Sushma Sagar from the 2023 batch will serve in Patna. Meanwhile, Aniket Kumar Dwivedi from the 2024 batch will work in Samastipur. In addition, Deepti Monali has taken charge in Gaya, and Hemant Singh has moved to East Champaran. Karthikeyan will serve in West Champaran, while Ketan Ashok Ingole has joined Darbhanga. Furthermore, Prasanna Kumar MV has reached Muzaffarpur, and Saim Raza will now work in Bhagalpur.
Along with these ASP appointments, the government also assigned new District Magistrates in 13 districts. For example, Shrikant Shastri is now the DM of Begusarai, and Taranjot Singh has taken charge in West Champaran. Likewise, Vivek Ranjan Maitreya will serve in Siwan, while Abhilasha Sharma is now DM of Aurangabad.
Moreover, Ashutosh Dwivedi will lead Katihar, and Pratibha Rani has taken charge in Shivhar. Vaibhav Srivastava is now DM of Saran. Other officers include Vinod Duhan in Araria, Abhishek Ranjan in Madhepura, Shekhar Anand in Sheikhpura, Sahila in Buxar, and Nitin Kumar Singh in Kaimur.
