A major Bihar narcotics seizure surprised police after they found illegal drugs and medicines in Patna. In this Bihar narcotics seizure, officers recovered narcotics worth about ₹1.25 crore during raids in the city.
Police received a tip about illegal drug storage. After that, teams raided locations in Chitragupt Nagar and Musallahpur. During the operation, officers seized 67,050 narcotic injections and 5,760 bottles of codeine cough syrup. Officials say the drugs were meant for illegal sale.
The Bihar narcotics seizure became more shocking when police found 35 anti-snake venom injections. Government hospitals usually use these medicines to treat snakebite victims. Police are now checking how these injections entered the illegal market.
Police arrested Arnav Kumar and Chotu Kumar during the raid. Officers suspect a bigger drug network behind the case. They also seized a car, two bikes, a scooter, and several mobile phones.
The investigation is still ongoing.
