The Bihar NDA press conference surprised everyone when Nitish Kumar, JP Nadda, Chirag Paswan, Jitan Ram Manjhi, and Upendra Kushwaha left within minutes of releasing the election manifesto. The event took place at Hotel Maurya, Patna, to announce the NDA’s joint promises for the Bihar Assembly elections. The Bihar NDA press conference started half an hour late and ended abruptly, creating confusion and speculation.
Opposition leaders questioned why no major NDA leader addressed the media. Congress observer Ashok Gehlot claimed the manifesto was released in only 26 seconds and accused the leaders of avoiding tough media questions. He called it unhealthy for democracy.
Later, Upendra Kushwaha clarified that all leaders had prior campaign schedules and could not stay long. He said the purpose was only to release the manifesto together. Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary later spoke to the media, highlighting the NDA’s development goals and Nitish Kumar’s vision for Bihar.
