Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary held a dinner meeting with NDA MLAs in Patna on Thursday. The meeting focused on preparations for the Bihar NDA Rajya Sabha Election. Voting for five Rajya Sabha seats will take place on March 16.
MLAs from BJP, JD(U), RLM, LJP (Ram Vilas), and HAM attended the meeting. Leaders discussed plans to ensure victory for all NDA candidates. The Bihar NDA Rajya Sabha Election has increased political activity in the state.
The alliance has nominated five candidates. They include Nitish Kumar, Nitin Nabin, Upendra Kushwaha, Ramnath Thakur, and Shivesh Ram.
Each candidate needs at least 41 votes to win a seat. NDA leaders believe they can easily win four seats. However, the fifth seat may require extra support.
Both NDA and opposition parties have started strong political planning before the election.
