Confusion and anger grew among party workers as Congress ticket chaos in Bihar deepened just days before nominations closed. Supporters of leaders denied tickets raised slogans against Congress in-charge Krishna Allavaru at Patna airport. The protests turned violent when student leader Manish Kumar was beaten. The Congress Election Committee met in Delhi, but no seat list was released. Supporters of Ashok Gagan and others accused leaders of favoritism and delay.
Inside the Congress ticket chaos in Bihar, tensions between Congress and RJD also worsened. RJD MP Manoj Jha’s poetic tweet hinted at strained ties. Congress leaders responded with their own verses, reflecting the uneasy alliance. Later, both parties claimed the seat-sharing deal was resolved. The Grand Alliance, including RJD and CPI-ML, began announcing candidates, but discontent among Congress workers remained high.
