In Bihar, Ritu Jaiswal challenges Tejashwi Yadav by declaring that the people will make Parihar Purnea. The former RJD Mahila Morcha president, now an independent candidate from Parihar in Sitamarhi district, accused RJD of ignoring the wishes of local workers. She said that when the party symbol was announced, RJD lost the trust of Parihar’s voters.
Ritu Jaiswal challenges Tejashwi Yadav openly after refusing to contest from another seat suggested by him. Voting in Parihar is scheduled for November 11. Tejashwi will address a rally there, but Jaiswal claims the people have already made their choice. She reminded voters how internal party issues earlier led to defeats in Purnea and other areas.
Once defeated narrowly in 2020 by BJP’s Gayatri Devi, Ritu is now confident of turning the tables. Her message to Tejashwi was clear: “Focus on other 242 seats; the people of Parihar have already decided.” The political scene in Bihar has heated up as rebels like Ritu could reshape election outcomes.
