The Bihar Rajya Sabha Election sparked political discussion after two Congress MLAs failed to appear during the voting process in the state assembly. Leaders from both the ruling and opposition camps continued to claim victory while voting was underway.
During the Bihar Rajya Sabha Election, reports first suggested that three Congress MLAs might skip the voting. Later, the Mahagathbandhan alliance said that 39 MLAs had already reached the assembly. However, Congress legislators Surendra Prasad and Manoj Biswas had still not arrived at the time.
Congress MLA Kamarul Hoda responded to the situation and said the missing MLAs were likely on their way. He added that they might have changed their phone numbers because people were disturbing them. He insisted that all MLAs remain united and will vote.
Hoda also expressed confidence that the alliance candidate AD Singh will win the seat. Meanwhile, other leaders said they remain fully confident about victory in the election.
