A tragic incident of Bihar roof construction electrocution claimed three lives and left one worker injured in Gopalganj district on Friday. The accident happened in Tuhsi village under Uchkagaon police station limits.

Workers were plastering the roof of a newly built house when an electric wire was connected to power a mixer machine. Suddenly, the current spread across the roof. All the workers present were struck by the electric shock.

Locals rushed to help and took the injured to the district hospital. Doctors declared three men dead, while one worker, Jitendra Singh, is still receiving treatment.

The deceased have been identified as contractor Nasruddin Miyan (55), Neeraj Kumar (30), and Balyas Singh (48), all from Trilokpur village. Their sudden deaths shocked the entire area.

Police reached the site, investigated the scene, and sent the bodies for post-mortem. Families of the victims have demanded compensation. Construction work at the site has now been stopped.

The Bihar roof construction electrocution has caused deep grief in the community. Authorities are investigating how the fatal accident occurred and what safety lapses led to the tragedy.
