Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said the Bihar Top 5 States Plan will transform the state in the coming years. During his Samriddhi Yatra in Araria district, he expressed confidence that Bihar will soon rank among India’s top five developed states under the Bihar Top 5 States Plan.
The state government has launched development projects worth around ₹545 crore in Araria. These projects focus on infrastructure, education, and healthcare to improve living conditions and boost economic growth in the region.
Nitish Kumar said Bihar has seen major improvements in law and order since 2005. He added that the government is preparing a long-term development roadmap for the period from 2025 to 2030.
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary also announced plans to build a new airport in Forbesganj. Around 150 acres of land are being identified for the project to improve connectivity and support regional development.
Officials believe these projects will create jobs and bring new opportunities for local residents.
