Bihar will join India’s top 5 developed states, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said during a high-level workshop in Gaya. He repeated that Bihar will join India’s top 5 developed states only if officials work with discipline, speed, and responsibility.
The Chief Minister addressed senior officers at the two-day “Manthan 2025” workshop. He asked them to focus on results instead of paperwork. He said people expect real change and timely delivery of government schemes.
Nitish Kumar told officials to act with sensitivity while implementing welfare programs. He stressed that development must reach villages, towns, and the poorest sections of society. He warned that delays and negligence will not be tolerated.
The Chief Minister also reviewed progress on several state projects. He urged departments to remove bottlenecks and coordinate better. According to him, strong administration is the key to rapid growth.
During the visit, Nitish Kumar inaugurated new facilities at the Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development. He interacted with officers and reviewed training arrangements.
He concluded by saying Bihar has the potential to grow fast. Clear planning, honest work, and public service will decide the state’s future.
