BJP MP Anurag Thakur has criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of making baseless allegations of “vote theft,” a practice he claims has become a habit for Gandhi. Thakur pointed out that under Gandhi’s leadership, the Congress party lost elections in 90 constituencies , suggesting that his repeated accusations reflect increasing frustration on his part .
Thakur mocked Gandhi for adopting a strategy of politicized allegations as his signature move , claiming that these accusations have become his political “jewels. ” He also remarked that apologizing and being reprimanded by courts have become routine for Gandhi.
Thakur’s comments come in the context of ongoing political tensions and a war of words between the BJP and Congress, with Gandhi’s recent statements about electoral integrity further intensifying the debate.
