The BJP-JDU Seat Sharing deal has been finalized for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently met in Patna, sparking strong political buzz. Their discussion was seen as a key step toward shaping the BJP-JDU Seat Sharing formula.

According to sources, the BJP and JDU have agreed on a preliminary seat division. Now, talks are in progress with allies like Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM). Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP) is also being included to ensure every party gets a fair share.

The final announcement is expected during the Navratri festival, which starts on September 22. Political observers believe the NDA wants to show unity and strength ahead of elections. The announcement may come around Durga Puja when the campaign gains momentum.

In 2020, JDU was weaker compared to the BJP. But Nitish Kumar’s return to the NDA has changed the balance. The BJP leadership now wants to maintain alliance harmony and send a clear message against the INDIA bloc.
