Scenes of celebration were seen outside BJP offices, where workers performed aarti and expressed confidence that the NDA under Nitish Kumar would form the government again. Leaders such as Vijay Kumar Sinha visited temples before the counting began.
Exit polls earlier predicted BJP as the largest NDA party, and today’s numbers appear close to that forecast. Several major BJP leaders, including Samrat Chaudhary and Maithili Thakur, contested from key seats, strengthening the party’s presence.
