BJP Legislature Party Meeting in Telangana Discusses Assembly Strategy

Telangana BJP Legislature Party meeting led by Alleti Maheshwar Reddy with Ramchander Rao and senior leaders discussing Assembly and election strategy

The BJP Legislature Party (BJLP) met today at the state headquarters under the leadership of Legislature Party leader Alleti Maheshwar Reddy. State party president Ramchander Rao, along with MLAs, MLCs, MPs, and senior leaders, joined the session. With the Assembly session beginning tomorrow, the meeting carried strong political weight.

Leaders discussed two key issues—the Deputy Speaker election and the Justice Chandra Ghose Commission report on the Kaleshwaram project. They also reviewed how to counter the ruling party and finalize their floor strategy. Party sources confirmed that BJP will raise corruption and irrigation failures as major points in the House.

In addition, the State Election Commission released the draft voter list for gram panchayats. Consequently, the party decided to prepare cadres at the booth level for upcoming local body elections. Ramchander Rao is expected to guide leaders in choosing strong sarpanch candidates and planning for MPTC and ZPTC polls.

Meanwhile, the leadership stressed discipline. Reports say show-cause notices may soon go to 12 leaders from Peddapalli and the undivided Mahbubnagar districts for actions that harmed the party’s image. This step highlights BJP’s intent to strengthen its internal structure before the polls.
