A viral video has put BJP MLA Pawan Yadav from Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur district, in the spotlight. The clip shows him clashing with a young man during a road inauguration at Ramchandrapur village.
The controversy began when locals noticed that the foundation stone claimed the road work was already completed, even though the MLA was inaugurating it that day. A youth questioned this, which sparked tension.
In the video, Pawan Yadav can be heard saying, “Don’t act too smart… the projects laid by the Chief Minister have already been completed. That’s why it is written on the plaque.” The young man then quietly told his friend, “We are recording everything, don’t argue further.”
The MLA, visibly angry, got off his motorcycle and confronted the youth, asking why he dared to question him. Chaos soon followed, with shouting and abusive language exchanged. His supporters and local youth engaged in a heated argument.
This incident has triggered strong political reactions. Opposition parties slammed Yadav, accusing him of arrogance and disrespect towards common citizens. The viral video has intensified criticism, raising questions about political behavior at public events.
