The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a protest outside the Congress party office in New Delhi against what it called a “shirtless” protest during an AI summit. BJP leaders and workers gathered with placards and raised slogans against the Congress and its leader Rahul Gandhi.
The BJP accused the Congress of trying to damage India’s image at an important international event focused on artificial intelligence. Protesters called the Congress leaders “irresponsible” and claimed their actions were meant to create controversy instead of discussing national development. Some BJP leaders even described them as “traitors” for allegedly harming the country’s reputation.
In response, Congress leaders defended their actions, saying their protest was meant to highlight important issues and express disagreement with government policies. The political exchange led to strong reactions from both sides, turning the AI summit into a new point of conflict between the two major parties.
