BJP Telangana Chief Urges SIR to Eliminate ‘Bogus Votes
BJP Telangana State president N. Ramchander R. has called for the implementation of a Special Investigation Report (SIR) to identify and remove ‘bogus votes’ from the electoral rolls. He alleged that fraudulent entries have compromised the integrity of voter lists, undermining the democratic process in the State.
Speaking to the media, Ramchander stressed that a thorough verification of voter data is essential to ensure free and fair elections. He urged the Election Commission and relevant authorities to take immediate action to detect irregularities, prevent voter manipulation, and restore public confidence in the electoral system.
The BJP leader claimed that certain political groups were exploiting loopholes in the voter registration process, allowing ineligible individuals to cast votes. He emphasized that cleansing the rolls would strengthen democracy and reflect the true will of Telangana’s citizens. The party also promised to actively monitor the process and support efforts to enhance transparency in upcoming elections.
