Tirupati: Andhra Pradesh MLA Bojjala Sudheer Reddy claimed there is a conspiracy against him after a selfie video of driver Rayudu, linked to Srikalahasti leader Kota Vinuta, went viral. Speaking to the media, Sudheer suggested the footage might have been recorded under duress or threats before Rayudu was allegedly killed, or could even be an AI-morphed / deepfake clip.
He questioned the timing and motive behind releasing such videos — particularly after suspects obtain bail — and asked why incriminating material is being publicised now. Sudheer recalled that police earlier indicated the Vinuta couple had been murdered, and said the new video raises more questions than answers.
Urging a thorough probe, he demanded that investigators examine whether the clip was produced coercively or digitally altered, and called for accountability for anyone attempting to malign him or manipulate public perception through doctored evidence.
