A bomb threat at Neem Ka Thana railway station in Rajasthan’s Sikar district triggered panic and a high-security alert late Monday night. An unknown caller and message warned of an explosion, prompting swift action from security agencies.

GRP and RPF teams rushed to the station and launched an intensive search operation. Neem Ka Thana police also joined the drive to secure the premises. Senior officials, including the SDM, ADM, and ASP, reached the spot and reviewed safety arrangements. Authorities tightened security across the station area to prevent any untoward incident.

Search teams combed platforms, waiting halls, tracks, and surrounding areas. The operation continued for several hours. Officials confirmed that they found no suspicious object or explosive material. The absence of explosives brought relief, but the threat caused fear among passengers and local residents.

Police traced the call and message to a mobile number linked to Uttar Pradesh. Investigators are now tracking the caller and expect a breakthrough soon. Officers have warned against spreading rumours and urged citizens to remain calm.

Rajasthan has seen a surge in hoax bomb threats in recent weeks. Schools, courts, flights, and public places have received similar warnings. Last week, a false threat disrupted proceedings at the Rajasthan High Court. Intelligence agencies continue to monitor the pattern closely.
