BRS pushes for 15-day Telangana Assembly session to discuss all issues
The BRS has requested that the Telangana Assembly winter session be extended to at least 15 days to allow adequate time to debate all important issues, party leaders said on Sunday.
Speaking in Hyderabad, BRS representatives said a longer session would enable detailed discussions on welfare programs, infrastructure projects, and policy initiatives implemented over the past decade. They emphasized the need for thorough scrutiny of government policies and responses to opposition queries.
The party also highlighted that adequate time is essential to address public concerns and legislative business without rushing decisions. Leaders stressed that a well-planned session would improve transparency and accountability in the Assembly.
Political analysts noted that opposition parties may push for shorter sessions, but BRS is determined to ensure ample debate on all issues, including development achievements and future plans.
