BRSA writes to CM against Deputy CM Vijay Sinha over alleged misconduct toward revenue officials during public programmes. The Bihar Revenue Service Association (BRSA) has sent a formal complaint to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, accusing the deputy chief minister of using harsh and threatening language against officers.
In its letter, BRSA said Vijay Sinha made insulting remarks during Janata Darbar and other public meetings. The association claimed such comments hurt the dignity of the service and weakened officer morale. It stressed that public humiliation of officials goes against democratic values and administrative discipline.
BRSA alleged that statements like “you will be suspended here” were spoken openly in front of citizens. According to the association, such behaviour creates fear among field officers and affects their ability to work independently.
The association warned that if this conduct continues, revenue officers may boycott public grievance hearings and official events. It also pointed out that videos of these incidents are spreading on social media, which is increasing anger among employees.
BRSA writes to CM against Deputy CM Vijay Sinha and urged the chief minister to intervene immediately. It requested respectful communication and resolution of issues through proper administrative channels. BRSA added that failure to act could force the association to launch a statewide agitation.
