Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday highlighted the Union Cabinet’s focus on enhancing India’s export competitiveness following a meeting on November 12, 2025. The Cabinet approved the launch of a comprehensive export promotion mission aimed at expanding India’s global trade footprint and supporting domestic producers in accessing international markets. Additionally, a new credit guarantee scheme for exporters was sanctioned to improve liquidity and reduce financial risks associated with global trade. Speaking after the meeting, Mr. Modi emphasized that these initiatives are designed to strengthen the country’s manufacturing base, create jobs, and position India as a preferred partner in global supply chains.
