The Secretariat replaced large televisions with advanced LED screens in the Chief Minister’s conference hall after video conference problems. One senior minister liked the new setup and asked officials to install the same system in his conference room.

Another senior minister later made a similar request. Officials approved the work and completed the installation. One department used its own funds to pay for the project.

Each LED screen installation reportedly costs between ₹45 lakh and ₹50 lakh. The spending has drawn criticism because many retired employees still await their pending benefits. Critics say the government found funds for these upgrades but delayed other payments.

DK Shivakumar comments on Telangana have become a topic of discussion in political circles. During a recent interaction, the Karnataka Chief Minister spoke about governance, development, and the growing role of southern states in India’s progress. DK Shivakumar comments on Telangana highlighted the importance of cooperation and healthy competition among neighboring states.

Shivakumar said states should focus on improving infrastructure, creating jobs, and attracting investments. He stressed that development should remain the main priority for governments rather than political differences.

The Karnataka leader also praised the rapid growth seen in several southern states. He noted that strong administration and investment-friendly policies help states achieve better economic results.

His remarks quickly drew reactions from political leaders and supporters. Many viewed the comments as an effort to encourage regional development and stronger ties between states.

Political observers believe such statements may influence future discussions on governance, investment, and regional cooperation in South India.

Officials are reviewing beneficiary records to ensure only eligible households continue receiving benefits.

Under the scheme, eligible Antyodaya families receive 35 kg of food grains every month through the Public Distribution System. The government has also continued free food grain distribution for beneficiaries under the National Food Security Act.

The Alert for Ration Card Beneficiaries comes as authorities increase verification efforts to identify ineligible cardholders and remove duplicate or incorrect entries from the system. These measures aim to improve transparency and ensure that welfare benefits reach deserving families.

Beneficiaries should ensure their ration card details, Aadhaar information, and eligibility records are up to date. Officials advise families to contact local food supply offices if they notice any issues with their ration card status.
