Chandrababu’s Health Mission Unfolds

CM Chandrababu Naidu launches Andhra Health Mission, digital health centers, and universal insurance for improved healthcare and welfare.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said the state aims to build a poverty-free society inspired by Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya. He inaugurated the new super specialty eye care center at Shankara Eye Hospital near Pedakakani in Guntur. The CM praised the hospital’s long service to the poor through free eye surgeries.

Naidu announced a new “Sanjeevani” digital health project with Tata Group. It will deliver medical services to every doorstep across Andhra Pradesh. The government is also digitizing health records of five crore citizens to promote preventive and curative care.

He said a Universal Health Insurance Policy will soon offer ₹2.5 lakh coverage per person and up to ₹25 lakh per family. Naidu appreciated Shankara Eye Hospital’s “Gift of Vision” and “Rainbow” programs for child eye care.

The CM also revealed plans to build Venkateswara temples in every state capital and 5,000 rural areas. He thanked the Kanchi Peeth for supporting Vedic education and dharma promotion.
