Tension rose in Patna after Chaos Near CM Residence created a political stir outside the Chief Minister’s residence. Angry JDU workers gathered near the CM house and surrounded the car of Hilsa MLA Prem Mukhiya. They protested against reports that Nitish Kumar might move to the Rajya Sabha.
The protest quickly turned aggressive. Workers slapped and hit the MLA’s car while shouting slogans. The crowd demanded that Nitish Kumar stay in Bihar and not move to Delhi for a Rajya Sabha seat.
Prem Mukhiya had come to meet the Chief Minister regarding the ongoing political developments. However, when he tried to leave, protesters blocked his vehicle. His driver quickly reversed the car and left the area to avoid further confrontation.
Police soon reached the spot and tightened security around the CM residence. Authorities also placed barricades and restricted movement on nearby roads. Officials said they are trying to calm the protesters and maintain order in the area.
