Child lifting rumors alert has pushed Bihar Police into action across the state. After several false reports created panic, officials issued fresh guidelines to all station heads. Under the child lifting rumors alert, police officers must verify every complaint quickly and respond without delay.
Senior officer Amit Kumar Jain urged people not to believe or spread unverified messages on social media. He asked citizens to report suspicious activity to the nearest police station or dial 112 instead of reacting emotionally.
In the last two days, police received five child theft complaints. Teams investigated each case and found that the reports were rumors. Officials warned that spreading false news can create fear and disturb public order.
Police have now formed Anti-Human Trafficking Units (AHTU) in every district. These teams will monitor missing children cases and take swift action when needed.
