Ahead of the Bihar elections, the Bihar NDA seat-sharing issue has sparked growing unrest among alliance partners. LJP (Ram Vilas) chief and Union Minister Chirag Paswan was the first to express dissatisfaction, followed by HAM leader Jitan Ram Manjhi, who used poetic words to highlight his party’s frustration. Through a verse by Dinkar Ji, Manjhi hinted at seeking fairness, saying justice should at least offer “half” or even “15 grams” if full share isn’t possible.
Manjhi later clarified that his party, unrecognized for the last decade, deserves seats worthy of recognition. He recalled that although they agreed on multiple Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha seats earlier, they got only one but didn’t complain then.
Meetings among BJP, JDU, HAM, and LJP leaders, including Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Lallan Singh, have failed to produce a seat-sharing formula. Chirag Paswan, invoking his father’s ideals, posted that one should “not tolerate crime” but “fight at every step.” He reportedly seeks 35 assembly seats, while the BJP is ready to allot 25, deepening the Bihar NDA seat-sharing issue further.
