Chirag Paswan bows out of CM race before the formation of the new NDA government in Bihar. Union minister Chirag Paswan said he is not a candidate for the chief minister’s post.
Paswan spoke to reporters in New Delhi. He said the next government in Bihar will mostly keep the same cabinet structure. He added that only the chief minister may change.
He also said the NDA alliance will discuss the leadership together. Party MLAs and alliance partners will take the final decision.
Paswan said the government may include a few new ministers. However, the overall structure will remain the same.
Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar may soon resign after moving to the Rajya Sabha. Reports say the next chief minister could come from the BJP. The new government may take oath around April 15.
