In the wake of a series of sudden deaths in Turakapalem village of Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has issued urgent instructions to safeguard residents. He directed that no villager should cook food or consume the local drinking water until further notice.
The Chief Minister ordered district officials to take complete responsibility for providing food and safe drinking water to all villagers. Starting today, arrangements have been made to supply three meals a day along with clean water to every household in Turakapalem.
Medical teams have also been deployed to investigate the cause of the unexplained deaths. Doctors are currently conducting tests and assessments to determine whether contaminated food or water might have contributed to the tragedy. The government has assured villagers of continuous monitoring and support until the situation is brought under control.
