Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the importance of keeping party leaders connected with the public and educating citizens about GST reforms. Speaking during a teleconference with public representatives and activists, Naidu highlighted a perceived dual approach of YCP legislators, noting that while some MLAs avoid the Assembly, MLCs actively attend Council sessions.
He pointed out the government’s achievements, such as addressing challenges in the power sector and implementing measures to reduce the financial burden on citizens by ₹1,000 crore. Naidu urged party members to organize 60,000 public meetings to explain the GST reforms comprehensively, ensuring people understand their benefits and implications.
The CM stressed that constant engagement with citizens is key to governance and transparency. By actively informing the public about fiscal policies like GST, the administration can foster trust, strengthen accountability, and empower people to make informed decisions regarding economic and taxation reforms.
