Hyderabad: Following the release of the local body election notification, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has instructed all ministers not to remain in Hyderabad and instead actively engage in field-level work across the districts. During a Zoom meeting, Revanth emphasized the importance of strengthening the Congress Party’s grassroots presence and closely coordinating with local leaders and cadres.
He made it clear that decisions regarding the selection of MPTC, ZPTC, and Zilla Parishad chairperson positions will be taken solely by the PCC leadership, and no minister or leader should make independent announcements until then.
The Chief Minister also directed ministers to monitor the High Court proceedings related to BC reservations regularly and keep the party updated on any developments. Revanth’s directive aims to ensure focused campaigning and efficient coordination ahead of the crucial local body elections in Telangana.
