Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid homage to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya on his birth anniversary, recalling his vision of Antyodaya — uplifting the last person in society. Speaking at a commemorative event, the Chief Minister said Deen Dayal Upadhyaya’s ideology continues to guide India’s path toward inclusive growth.
Yogi Adityanath underlined that Uttar Pradesh, with its size and population, holds a crucial position in India’s development journey. He pointed out that the state has made significant progress in infrastructure, industry, and agriculture under the double-engine government, adding that UP’s contribution is vital for achieving the goal of a self-reliant India.
Highlighting the government’s efforts, the Chief Minister said schemes inspired by Deen Dayal Upadhyaya’s philosophy are reaching millions of people at the grassroots level. He noted that welfare programs, digital governance, and skill-development initiatives in Uttar Pradesh reflect the principle of serving the poorest sections of society.
The event also saw cultural performances, community gatherings, and tributes from leaders across the state. Yogi Adityanath emphasized that the legacy of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya should not remain confined to celebrations but should inspire governance and public service on a daily basis.
As Uttar Pradesh continues to attract investment and create new opportunities, the Chief Minister expressed confidence that the state will play a decisive role in shaping India’s economic and social future. He urged citizens to draw inspiration from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya’s life and work for building a prosperous nation.
