The coalition government has intensified its focus on tax evasion by industries and private educational institutions in Andhra Pradesh. The government aims to ensure that all pending taxes are collected without delay.
During a review meeting with Panchayat Raj and Rural Development officials, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan discussed the issue of unpaid taxes owed to local panchayats. He reviewed tax arrears from industries and private educational institutions and sought details from officials.
Pawan Kalyan questioned why industries and private educational institutions were not paying taxes when ordinary citizens regularly pay their dues. He directed officials to take a strict approach toward tax collection and avoid negligence.
The coalition government targets tax evasion by industries and private educational institutions to strengthen local bodies and improve revenue collection. Officials have been instructed to take action against organizations that fail to clear their dues and follow government guidelines while carrying out enforcement measures.
