Amid the Bihar Assembly elections, the Congress party released a 42-page chargesheet against the Nitish government, highlighting two decades of misrule under the NDA. The document accuses the state of corruption, unemployment, poor healthcare, and collapsing law and order.
Senior Congress leaders, including Ashok Gehlot, Bhupesh Baghel, and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, presented the report at Patna’s Sadakat Ashram. Gehlot said the Bihar elections would shape the nation’s future. He alleged that Bihar lags behind due to corruption and mismanagement, pointing to a ₹70,000-crore CAG report irregularity.
Bhupesh Baghel added that leaders above 75 years, including Modi, should retire, claiming the “double-engine government” has failed. Jairam Ramesh accused the central government of manipulating the reservation system under the Ninth Schedule and said the upcoming polls will define the youth’s destiny.
Congress concluded that the chargesheet against Nitish government symbolizes Bihar’s demand for change and accountability.
