Congress marks 141st foundation day, highlights role in Independence and nation-building
The Congress party celebrated its 141st foundation day on Sunday, emphasizing its historic contribution to India’s freedom struggle and post-Independence nation-building. Telangana Congress chief Mahesh Kumar Goud said the party was born out of the determination and sacrifices of great leaders.
Speaking in Hyderabad, Mr. Goud highlighted Congress’s role in shaping India’s democratic framework and advancing social and economic development after Independence. He said the party has consistently worked towards the welfare of the people and the growth of the nation.
